Put Up (Down) Your Dukes
There are times I get sick of it, and we both enter into some sort of moratorium, like a ceasefire, or maybe the calm before a storm, for a time.
And then we’re back at it again.
But I love it.
It keeps us sane. Reminds us that we’re still individuals, because really this marriage, and this family, that we’re in, that we’re creating, and that’s creating us, is bigger than both of us put together and sometimes, it swallows us up.
I don’t know if we’re normal, or average, or ideal.
But I wouldn’t have it any other way.
